"The room hygiene was excellent, and the location is super convenient with a subway station right next door, making it easy to get anywhere. The service was truly great, and the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. As expected from a Jinjiang Group hotel, it's really top-notch. My only regret was that my autumn break coincided with many others, so my overall experience in Xi'an wasn't the best. However, this hotel will definitely be my first choice for my next visit to Xi'an. Highly recommended! I usually don't write reviews, but this one deserves it."

"Legit a humble abode most suitable for couple/ solo travelers - living like a local with its location and house style. Level 3 & 4 rooms are almost perfect with balcony just a step away from smoking. Road outside is under construction so that's a little workout there with the luggages but owner has the most initiative in helping and welcoming. A one man show but he is just a wechat away in almost any help needed possible. Been missing the quiet stay since flying back home ☁️🫧"

Room was excellent, able to walk to Bell Tower (5 minutes), City Wall (20 minutes) and good transoort links e.g. subway/metro Tourist Bus etc as well as good shopping around the area.
I made good use of the included Breakfast and afternoon tea (小圆 even ensured I could access when I had checked out for the morning due to ny tour taking me past 3pm)
Room came with everything I needed for my stay, slippers robe, toiletries, plentiful bottled water and some soft drinks as well were waitinf in the fridge for me, usual hot drinks too.
Will definitely consider staying again when I have the chance to revisit."

"Pros:
1. Location is very central and you can view the Bell Tower from your room. Although some rooms may have a better view than mine.
2. Free drinking water at the lobby and every floor.
3. Laundry and dryer room is free to use but can get very busy. Staff 张福云 was very helpful, she helped manage the clothes, folding them after drying and even brought them to the room.
4. Room has direct water source (various temperature) and it is useful for cold weather.
Cons:
1. No ramp to the hotel, so luggage and pram could be a problem.
2. Central location brings central problem. Taxis are unable to stop at the hotel due to the roads being fenced off.
3. Rooms with views also suffer from noise from the traffic at the roundabout, even at 3am. Seems like it is in their culture to honk even though traffic is light at 3am!! If you don't want noise, choose a room that is not facing the Bell Tower. Closing the windows and curtains helped a bit but honks are still audible and it doesn't help when there isn't air-conditioning during autumn and winter.
4. Breakfast is fairly basic and afternoon tea break has just biscuits. We skipped it totally."

"Room is exactly like in pics. Cozy place with lots of natural lights located on a quiet street. Location was good with eateries nearby and morning market was very near, just about 300m away. Slightly a distance from the buzzling central (eg. Muslims quarters, Yong Ning gate), but Didi is cheap so it's no issue getting around. We even commute on the 3-wheel motorcycle (4 ppl can squeeze into 1) for even cheaper options. Host was very helpful and friendly. We had a pleasant stay there! Highly recommended!"

"DESCRIPTION
Quaint hotel which is actually in an apartment building where several floors have been converted into a hotel. Very modern and artistic deco, owner clearly put a lot of time and thought into the design.
LOCATION
About 1.5km from Nanmen, walking distance to certain popular food areas like Xiaonanmen and Zhongmao Plaza. Short cab ride to all the major attractions. It isnt exactly in the heart of Xi'an but still reasonably well located.
ROOM
We basically had a two room apartment with a loving room.and two toilets. As with the rest of the hotel, very well renovated and stylishly furnished. Great for families which need multiple rooms and a common area. The beds and pillows were the best during our trip to China, we all slept fantastically well there.
AMENITIES
There is a small gym but the highlight is the 'cat room' which is literally a room full of cats, kittens and feline toys. The cats were very clean and very posh looking! Kids had a blast playing with the cats.
SERVICE
The best part of Hesu is the staff. Whilw they dont speak much English, they were super helpful and friendly. They even have a WeChat account for guests to ping them for help.
CONCLUSION
Very cool hotel, highly recommended for families visiting Xi'an."

"This time I stayed at Xi'an Dongxin Business Hotel, the overall feeling was great! From check-in to check-out, every link made me feel the hotel's intentions and professionalism.
As soon as I entered the door, the front desk lady smiled and greeted me. The check-in procedure was very fast and she also took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and surrounding food. I heard that I was the first time I came to Xi'an. I specially recommended nearby specialty snacks and transportation routes. The service attitude was like a spring breeze.
The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom design is very intimate. It is especially worth mentioning that the room is also equipped with a small refrigerator. It is really happy to drink iced drinks in summer! Health is also impeccable, every day there is a special person to clean, even the corners are spotless.
The hotel is located on Huoju Road, a few minutes walk to the subway station, and it is very convenient to go to the Bell Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and other attractions. The surrounding business districts are also very prosperous. Lifeng International Plaza has Wal-Mart, Haidilao, and a cinema. You can eat, drink and play.
The double breakfast presented by the hotel exceeded expectations, the variety was rich and the taste was delicious. The restaurant aunt was particularly enthusiastic and greeted the guests in Shaanxi dialect, making people feel like they were home.
Dongxin Business Hotel is not only good in hardware facilities, but also moving in service. Whether it is a business trip or a tourist holiday, this is a great choice. Next time I come to Xi'an, I will definitely stay here again!"

"Excellent hotel, friendly staff, and the location couldn't be any better. You're literally in the heart of Xi'an next to a major tourist destination!
The one thing is that I got a room facing the street with a window. It was a very busy street, so at times, the traffic was pretty loud, and the noise insullation wasn't sufficient. Thus, if you're noise sensitive, make sure you request a quiet room and the staff will accomodate you.
I've attached pictures of both (i) my room, which was clean and had amazing facilities and (ii) the major tourist site directly outside the hotel, which is right in the center of the city."

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

FFFAVAThe hotel's entrance signage was unclear, and I almost went to the wrong door, as there are three hotels within the same complex. I'm not sure if it was due to a slight delay in check-in, but the front desk upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the room was pretty well-maintained, though it had a couple of minor flaws: the bathroom door didn't close tightly, and there was a noticeable dent on the floor. The service was enthusiastic, but their efficiency and execution could be improved. The dinner at the Italian restaurant was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the egg white omelet and black sesame paste for breakfast, both of which I haven't seen offered at other hotels. The complimentary fruit in the room wasn't of great quality; the pepino melon, for instance, was unripe. The TWG tea and bottled mountain spring water in the room, however, were fitting for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel also boasts a beautiful garden at the back. My lasting impressions of this hotel are its French romantic architecture and the delightful fragrance of osmanthus flowers.

AAnonymous UserI truly enjoyed my stay at MEILIE Ling Hotel Xi’an. The hotel’s aesthetic is elegant and full of Song-style charm, blending traditional beauty with modern comfort. Its location is perfect — right near the Bell Tower and within walking distance to the Muslim Quarter, making it ideal for exploring the city.
The service was personal and attentive. Staff members did their best to accommodate every need, responding quickly and always with warmth and professionalism. Complimentary laundry, breakfast, afternoon tea, and even a light supper were thoughtful highlights. Communication was smooth, and requests were handled efficiently.
The bedding was exceptionally comfortable — soft and perfect for a restful sleep. I also appreciated the small yet meaningful touches: a water bottle thoughtfully placed on a bench near the elevator, free drinks at the rooftop bar, and the friendly faces at the lobby and dining area. The smart systems, delivery robots, and AI features added a fun, futuristic touch.
Even the elevator design — intentionally slow with a built-in seat — reflected the hotel’s calm and graceful philosophy. The entire experience felt refined, relaxing, and full of care.
A wonderful new hotel that captures the soul of Xi’an with heart and detail. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel facilities are very new, and the rooms are quite spacious. Its location near Datang Everbright City and Joy City is a definite plus. However, being right at the entrance of a major scenic area and on a one-way street makes getting around a bit inconvenient, especially in the evenings. This is something for other travelers to keep in mind.
Despite the bustling location, the hotel itself was quiet, and I had a good rest. The only real downside was the breakfast, which had a very limited selection.
What's more, for some reason, even the restaurant staff during breakfast were asking us for positive reviews. If this is for staff evaluation, the hotel should really consider guest privacy and approach guests at appropriate times without being intrusive. Plus, the breakfast staff generally don't have direct interactions with guests beyond serving food, so it felt quite abrupt and out of place.
On a positive note, both the front desk and housekeeping services were excellent.

Breakfast is a modest variety but delicious, and well re-stocked.
The room was large, with excellent fittings and furnishings, with a nice local outlook from the windows. The window opens for some fresh air if required.
The laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. And free washing detergent.
All the staff from reception to cleaners to cooks are lovely, and do their jobs really well.

Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite.

The room featured comfortable bedding, a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, a purified water dispenser, and a mini-fridge. There's also a self-service laundry room and free parking, which met all my travel needs. The room corners were dust-free, the bed linen was pristine white and fresh, and there was no water pooling in the bathroom. Housekeeping was meticulous daily, and the breakfast area cutlery was properly sanitized, ensuring a worry-free dining experience. Conveniently located near the high-speed train station and bus stops, the hotel is well-soundproofed and quiet. The price is reasonable, offering significantly better value for money than other hotels in the same price range. Overall, a perfect experience! I'll definitely choose Jingyu again next time I'm in this city and will highly recommend it to my friends!
